Children are our audience, so our rule is to collect no personal data. Here is what that means, in plain words.
The short version
No accounts
Nobody signs up, logs in or gives an email address to take a lesson.
No personal data
We do not ask for, collect or store personal data about learners.
Progress stays on the device
Saved progress lives in the learner's own browser, and the lens's move log never leaves it.

Privacy law
Built with COPPA and PDPA in mind.
Because lessons need no accounts and collect no personal data, there is very little to consent to, store or delete. We design with COPPA and PDPA in mind. We are not claiming a certification; if your school or company has a specific questionnaire, send it to us.
Live AI, only where it is guarded
Echo Live
The only live AI in our products. It is for ages 13 and up, behind a privacy notice and a tick box. Every message is checked on the way in and on the way out, and messages containing personal details are stopped. We do not store conversations or log their content. Younger students use the on-their-own route and never touch live AI.
Echo for Work
Business scenarios are for adults. They need an 18 and over tick before live AI is available, and the AI is guided by the scenario's own workplace document.
Everything else, including the lessons' characters and classmates, is scripted and simulated.
Access and reach
Narrated
Lessons are spoken sentence by sentence. Where a recorded clip is missing, the browser's own voice reads it.
Light and dark
Every page, in ours and our trainings, has a light and a dark theme.
Camera and microphone
Switched off across our sites, except the Speak Up lessons, which use the microphone for a live voice meter.

This website
No analytics. No cookies.
This studio site has no analytics, no tracking and no cookies, and no forms. The only outside resource it loads is its typefaces from Google Fonts. Contact is by email only.
